Guests "love being so close to the train" and the highway at this "centrally located" Downtown high-rise, although the neighborhood isn't "so great at night"; the staff is usually "friendly and helpful", the parking's "convenient" and the WiFi's free – good things in a hotel that "could certainly use an update in decor and facilities", has problems with some rooms' "strange layouts" and is not always completely clean.

This was a nice hotel in a nice area. It had great security and met my expectations in all areas. Macdonald is right across the street since no continental breakfast.

Location was convenient to Port Jefferson Ferry.

Excellent customer service, clean and comfortable. The only two things that could have made the stay better were the pool hours (room brochure said 24 hours but when we got to the pool it was only open until 10pm) and paying a nightly rate to park in a garage across the street. ...read more

The hotel was very clean. The staff were not very knowledgeable to the area and appeared aloof. We asked where a good seafood restaurant was and somewhere the locals eat. They sent us to an Italian restaurant. We had to pay to park overnight which I don't like to do. The clerk told us where the garage was but failed to say it was unattached to the hotel.
